Today I guided two nature photography workshops in the Fochteloerveen. Great weather, over 20°C, bright sunshine (too much even for good photography) and hardly any wind. Despite the hard light everybody had a great day. As one of the leaders of the workshop I didn’t have much time to take pictures myself. But I was enjoying myself anyhow. The first two species of dragonfly of the new season (several Northern White-faced Darters and Large Red Damselflies) and several different butterflies. Unfortunately no time to take pictures of them. In the end of the day, when most people had left I had some time with these Common Pond Skaters. I tried to keep all distracting objects out of the picture to get all focus on the skaters.
