with red eyes

We’ve got a strange spring here. After one very nice week (just before my May break) temperatures dropped again and the clouds returned. At the moment it looks like we’re getting some nice days again. After coming home from school I decided to make the best of this nice evening and head out to my home patch. Not too many damsels today, just a few Variable Bluets and even one Hairy Hawker. Not very special and not very special pictures. But I’ve practiced a little with changing focus while filming. Can give some nice effects.

Walking back to my bike I noticed this Large Redeye sitting in the grass. It turned out to be a very nice model. I like this picture best, not the most close up I’ve made today, but I like the combination with the grass.

I hope you do too!
