In the clouds


Climbing mountains has never really been my thing (hasn’t it, Ruben?). As a guide however you sometimes have to make sacrifices. So when we came to Midterhuken, which is a nice mountain with a very nice view from the top, I decided it would be nice to offer a hike to the top. After a hard climb (at least for me) we had a great view over the area. The clouds were moving in already, but we were still underneath it. Looking north towards van Mijdenfjorden we had a good view on Axeløya disappearing in the clouds. Next to us there was a colony of Kittiwakes and Brünich’s Guillemots. Looking down, we wondered about the jump the young chicks had to make, all the way down to the water…
