Fly agaric

In photography it’s important to reduce your image to the basic. Find out what is important for your picture and leave all other things out of the image. This way nothing distracts the viewer from what you want to show. Today I gave two mushroom photography workshops. The last stop was at some large Fly Agarics. The most famous mushroom, known by everybody for its red colour with white dots. This was what I wanted to show, so I zoomed in on that pattern, making sure that nothing else was visible. Even though you can’t really see this is a mushroom, everybody will still recognize it as a Fly Agaric.
