The last workshop

Yellow Brain Fungus

Today we had the last workshop of the year. An expert mushroom photography workshop in the Horsterwold. In advance we hoped the weather wouldn’t be too bad, the weather forecast wasn’t too good for this day. We also hoped we could still find some mushrooms. Despite being one of the best mushroom area’s in the Netherlands, over 1100 species have been recorded in the Horsterwold, it is getting late in the season. Both things turned out to be really nice. We didn’t have any rain at all and could still find more as enough mushrooms. The group was also really nice. quite knowledgable already, good equipment and willing to learn. So a really nice way to end the workshop season.

Now the lecture season starts, Tuesday the lecture Poles Apart in Usquert, with several more to come. Interested? Have a look at my lectures page to make a booking!
