Sedgeling (Nehalennia speciosa)

Looking through my video-files I saw that I never edited the movie I shot of the Sedgeling excursion this spring. Being one of the dragonfly-highlights of this year, I still wanted to share this movie with you, despite being a little out of season. You can see the fragile habitat and the small size of the Sedgeling, the smallest damselfly of Europe. This is also shown in the picture above, a tiny damsel living in a dense “forest” of grass leaves….
