Looking back at 2010: movies

Another highlight of this year was my new ability to shoot movies. One year ago I bought my Canon 5D mark II, so now I can shoot full HD-movies, using my high quality lenses. This is great and opens a completely new opportunity of recording scenes. But I also had lot’s of things to learn. With a picture, that picture has to tell the complete story, while with movies you take different shots and make them into one movie. So now I have to think about the complete story, not only about each image. This asks a complete different approach, which is something I really had to learn.

Despite this learning, I’m still really happy with the movies I’ve made. Here a small selection of short movies I made during the year.
