Black and white

Coot in the snow

Black and white photography isn’t the easiest part of photography. Neither is colour photography with a black subject in a white surrounding. Underexposing means you loose detail in the black parts, over exposing means washed out whites… Today I tried anyhow. Fortunately the sun  wasn’t shining, which would have made it even more difficult. It was also the first time I took pictures of moving subjects with my new lens icm the 1.4x converter. I’m still very impressed with the results! I like the look in this bird “What is that thing doing there?
