Heath in winter

Pine tree against the light

The last few days of the year I spent traditionally at my dad’s house in the forest. This year is really special with all the snow that is still around. Today I went for a nice walk through the forest and the heath. The forest was a little foggy already, but the Zilvensche Hei (a heathland) was completely fogged in. This gave a really special effect, almost like a white out. After a while the fog lifted a little, creating this nice atmosphere, with sun, snow and the last remnants of fog.
