Nightlife

Leiden by night

Sometimes it’s nice to practice a completely different kind of photography. I spent new years eve at a friend’s place in Leiden, on the 22nd floor. We had a great view over the city and I hoped to make a lot of nice fireworks pictures. Unfortunately the fog came in around midnight, so we couldn’t see as much as I hoped to see. Today no fog, but also no fireworks. But it was still a really fascinating sight, the city, neighbouring cities with all their lights and those lights reflecting on the clouds. Great opportunity for a completely different kind of photography.
