Two-dimensional depth

Beech tree in Fochteloerveen

After the last workshop of 2010, I told about the assignment of different perspectives. Today we had the first workshop of 2011. One of the ideas I got during the past winter was to capture more or less the same shot throughout the season. This same shot I made before and I hope to take it again every time I get to this place. That way one can really see the different seasons come and go.

When we arrive at this place during the workshop we also give another assignment. For this assignment the people have to capture depth on their two-dimensional picture. One way of doing this is to work with lines in the picture. This is what I tried to do in this picture.

Next time with some leaves on the trees??
