I just returned from another night in a hide. I spent over 47 hours in a hide now in the past 4 days… This was by far the most boring. This night there was a group of 20 Finnish pupils at the same site. Most of them were also photographers and were more or less quiet, but there were 7 non-photographers in a large hide who were having a good party. So no bears tonight… It were a long 12 hours waiting, with only little happening. Very frustrating… This Greenshank together with a Wood Sandpiper was one of the highlights. A picture I really wanted, as most lakes and ponds have a pair of those birds breeding. Nice to see these birds in a forested area, in contrast to the swamps we see them in the Netherlands.

  • Voel helemaal met je mee, en hoop dat de beren nu niet voor de eerste
dagen zijn verstoord. Pubers zijn inderdaad soms voor achter het behang.

    vannacht meer succes toe gewenst
