Evening light

Taiga lake in the evening

The first nights we had a campsite close to a small lake at the treeline. As the lake, and our camp, was a little higher as the surrounding land, we were often just above the clouds. This evening the clouds just reached the edge of the lake. Without any wind, the lake was mirror like and with the sun gone, you had the really nice blue light of just after sunset. We had a great evening sitting in our wind shelter, talking softly and regularly getting out to have a look what the light was and if it would be different enough again to take another picture. This was one of the nicest pictures of the evening.
