Movie: The strongest animals of the forest

an anthill in the forest

One of the things I always notice in the forests of Sweden are the large numbers of big anthills. Of course, we’ve got ants in the Netherlands, but I’ve never seen anthills that were 1 meter high like the ones I see in Sweden. As you can see in the movie below, ants are always busy. Ants have a complicated social structure with working ants, guards, hunters. They cover large parts of the forest searching for food and defending their territory against other ant colonies.

In the movie you see the ants running up and down the anthill and on their way to and from the anthill.
