Taking pictures of Sanderling is just great fun. Especially when it’s 25C and the sun is shining. For this picture I was sitting on my knees in shorts in the sea, to get a low angle on this bird. The hard thing is that they keep on running up and down, following the waves. This individual just stood still for a short moment, giving me enough time to get this shot with a wave in the background.
