Three in a row

Sanderling & Dunlins

Most stints you see on the beach are Sanderlings, but sometimes a few others are in-between. This morning we found two Dunlins in a larger group of Sanderling. With a little patience I managed to get this picture with both species together. You can clearly see the difference in color and size between the two species.
