Fly agaric

Every mushroom workshop or excursion I give, the absolute highlight is a Fly Agaric. The best known mushroom, with nice colors and one that features in many gnome fairy tales. The problem with this is that it’s hard to make an original photograph of it. For this picture I went underneath the mushroom so I could focus on the gills. I left a bit of the top of the hood in the picture, so it’s clear for everybody what species is depicted.
