Common Buzzard

Two weeks holiday, a new camera, that means lots of time and motive to go out and take pictures. However, the weather isn’t really cooperating. The clouds take away most of the little light that is available in these days. Not really ideal weather for photography. But I try sometimes anyhow. Yesterday we made a short tour around Eibergen, in the hope to find some birds in the farmlands. It looked like even the birds were celebrating christmas. The only interesting bird we could find was this Buzzard. He was hopping around between the grass in search for food and finally sat down on this pole. Because this happened at the other side of the car I couldn’t use my beanbag for support, so unfortunately I couldn’t make a movie of his behavior.

Hopefully it clears up a little soon, so I can also take some nice pictures under good conditions (however the forecasts say different….)
