Colorful

Eiders

Most seabirds aren’t that colorful. White, with grey or black, or maybe brown.  Male Eider ducks are a pleasant surprise in this colorless world. They are nicely colored and can really brighten up my day. Here a mixed flock with males and females over a rough North Sea.

  • Very Nice photo. I just have 1 question, what about the 3 little dots on the right side of the photo. Is this poo or are it also ducks (but further away)? Anyway I thing I would have removed the 3 dots.

    • Thanks for your comment. It’s poo indeed. I thought about removing it (I agree the picture might be better without), but as it “belongs” to the group, I decided to leave it.
