Fireworks

Dandelion

Yesterday I went out to enjoy spring. The forecast wasn’t that good, but the promised rain stayed away and the temperature was ok. I hoped to find some damselflies, but apparently they thought it was still too cold. The birdlife was nice though, Cuckoo’s, Reed Warblers, Blackcaps, Swifts, they had all returned from Africa and wanted me to notice their presence. It was fun walking around, even though not many wanted to pose for a picture. On my way back I stopped at a field of grass with some flowers to try my new lens. The round shape of this Dandelion fitted nicely in the circular image this lens produces at 8mm. The green leaves and the white plumes make it resemble some fireworks, in my opinion…
