Muskox in Dovrefjell
Muskox in Dovrefjell

As the regular visitors of this blog have probably noticed, it’s been pretty calm here… Busy weeks at school and only very little time to take pictures… Soon this will change with a trip to Iceland, but for now only some old pictures. In busy times like this I always start to dream about things I still like to do, or do again. This picture is taken almost 3 years ago together with Ingvar in Dovrefjell, Norway. We set out on skis, with a tent, camping at -30C and had one terrific day near a small herd of Muskoxen. A full account of this trip can be found on my website. I’d really love to get back here and do this again. I’ve got better equipment, so I can get the animals closer and I would like to get some more behaviour shots. But above all I would like to get back to these winter conditions, the coldness, desolateness and the true feeling of being out in nature. Well, something to keep in mind for another year 🙂
