Happy Eastern

Basilica of the Blessed Sacrament

I’m not a religious person, however I do like to take pictures of churches. These large buildings with their nice architecture call for wide-angle lenses, or even a fish-eye, like in this case. There isn’t a lot of light available, but you don’t want to use your flash. It kills the atmosphere and it doesn’t look good to use one in a church anyway. Good thing I can use higher ISO-values with my camera’s. At first I thought the person (a colleague of mine) to be too far away, being too small in the frame. But as she is just walking into the light, it makes the picture even stronger.

Happy Eastern!
