Waterfall

Gullfoss, Iceland
Gullfoss, Iceland

The overall theme of our trip to Iceland was water. Normally Iceland already has a lot of water, waterfalls, spectacular coastlines, geysers, but we had snow, ice, rain and clouds added to that. On the last day most of them came together. We first went to Geysir and afterwards to one of the most spectacular waterfalls I know: Gullfoss. The only problem was that the rain was pouring down the whole day … Not very good for photography … But well, we had to make the best of it. By using my big stopper, I could get the motion in the water. It was really hard to get proper colours in the picture, as the big stopper (a 10 stops neutral density filter) gives quite a blue cast over the image. I’ve made several edits of images like this. I do like this ‘rough’ edit.

I’ve also finally sorted out  the pictures of the Iceland trip and placed a selection on my website.
