Trees and bears

Brown Bear
Brown Bear

Just returned from my first night in a Finnish bear hide. And what a night… I had a hide at the edge of the forest and close to a frozen lake. Several times bears came from behind the hide through the forest really close to my hide. I think the closest bear was at about 5 meters away from me. Two years ago I mainly took pictures of bears out in the open, this year I want to spent more time in or near the forest, the natural habitat of Brown Bears. This picture shows a bear appearing from behind a tree.
