Bears are animals of the forest. Most pictures you see however, are made in swamp area’s. This is because most hides are placed in those areas as they easier to take pictures. There is more light compared to the forest and you have a better view on the surrounding area, so you can see bears at a larger distance. This year we spent two nights in a hide in the forest. Both nights the light was ok, not a lot but enough to take pictures. The bears came really close, so large lenses weren’t needed. With this picture I tried to include a bit of the habitat of the bear in the picture.
