For our freedom

Margraten War Cemetery
Margraten War Cemetery

Today, May 4th at 8pm we are silent for 2 minutes in the Netherlands. With this silence we commemorate all soldiers who died since World War II for our freedom. Earlier this year I was at Margraten War Cemetery, one of the largest American cemeteries where soldiers have been buried who died while fighting for our freedom in the World War II. Endless rows of white crosses nicely lined up on a green field. Every now and then somebody paid their respect to one of the soldiers by placing a flower in front of the cross.

This one is for all men and women who fought for our freedom and didn’t live to enjoy it. Thanks guys!
