Getting wet feet

For better pictures it’s often recommended to get to eye level with your subject. This is often true, but how do you get this when you’re subject is a Walrus and is swimming in water just above freezing? Well, just put on your rubber boots and walk in, crouch down and aim your camera at the subject. The lower you crouch, the nicer the image. Just make sure you don’t get too low, as that will result in wet feet or even wet pants…
