Into the ice

One of the highlights of each cruise is a trip to the pack ice. With the ice melting further and further each summer we have to sail more north each time. This time we had to go to 81ºN to find good ice. It’s always a really nice experience to sail quietly through the ice enjoying the endless white icescapes.  Our captain Alexey seemed to really enjoy bringing the ship into the ice, which allowed the people onboard to get most out of this experience.
