NatuReview 2013

Whooper Swan in Iceland
Whooper Swan in Iceland

At the end of the year it’s always nice to look back at the year gone by, or in short the NatuReview… For me the year really started in the end of February in Iceland. We hoped to be able to take pictures of the Aurora, but clouds prevented this. However, the Icelandic scenery and wildlife made up for that. We saw Harlequin Ducks, spectacular winter scenery, got stuck in a white out, had up close encounters with Arctic Foxes and Harbour Seals and with several Whooper Swans. It was really nice to see those swans in their natural winter environment.
