Surprise winter

So far winter hasn’t been winter-like at all… Relatively high temperatures, a lot of rain and overcast most of the time. More like the weather we usually got in autumn. However, last week it slowly got a little colder and yesterday evening it started snowing. When I woke up this morning the whole world was covered in a nice white blanket. Now the question came up, where to go. There was just a small part of the Netherlands white, so a lot of places were out of the question. Finally I decided to go to an area nearby. This polder used to be farmland, but is used as an overflow area for when the water gets too high. A nice area, especially when it’s white 🙂

By the way, last week I had my 100.000th pageview on this blog. Thanks all for watching, reading and reacting!
