“No snow”

Vesterålen, Norway
Vesterålen, Norway

Last year I went to Iceland with my mom and Geert to find the Aurora. We had a great trip, but failed to see the Aurora, as it was overcast the whole time. This year we try again. We headed to Vesterålen, just north of the Lofoten in Norway. Here too, winter hasn’t been what it normally is and we were warned that there wasn’t any snow. Well, that changed the moment we landed… Lots of snow fell on the ride between the airport and our cottage in Sortland and we found ourselves in a winter wonderland. Unfortunately the snow is melting already, especially after some rain, but today we enjoyed it as long as it lasts. Here a picture I took today with the fish eye. Hope to be back to you with some green sky-pictures…
