Color in a grey world


When it’s overcast and there is snow in the mountains pictures often look like pen-drawings. There is hardly any colour to be found in the image. This can be really nice (as you can see in the previous post). However, it can also be nice to add at least some colour to the image. While driving around Vesterålen, I suddenly saw this frozen lake with a pine forest and a cottage. I used the HDR-technique to add some drama to the sky and to maintain detail in the forest. All in all some colour in an otherwise grey day…
