Last weekend I gave a few workshops at the Veluwse FotoDagen. This is a new photography event with a photography fair, lectures and workshops. All this in a really special location, the old radio station of Radio Kootwijk. This is a very typical building in the middle of a heath field surrounded by forest. When I had just arrived and made a quick tour through the heath field, the air was buzzing with sounds. Stonechats, singing Skylarks, Curlews they all seemed happy with the beautiful weather. When I returned to the fair they showed me a emerging Blue Emperor. It was emerging in the small pond in front of the building which made me decide to use a wide-angle lens to capture both the dragonfly as the building in the back. A nice sunny image that captures the mood of the day.
Prachtige foto en een geweldige plek inderdaad, kwam er altijd graag!
Groet, Ron.

Prachtige plaat die het zeker goed doet met zo’n achtergrond.
