I like making close ups or capturing behaviour of an animal. But what I like most is showing an animal in its natural habitat. This often tells a lot about the animal. The way he lives, he moves, where he lives, his challenges. Polar Bears live on the pack ice. A changing world, a melting world. Each winter the ice grows, each summer it melts. And each summer it melts a little more, making it harder and harder for a Polar Bear to find the ice with the seals attached to it. This bear was lucky. He found lots of ice, with lots of seals hauling out on it. Hopefully he can roam around for a long time in this endless world.
