It’s windy

Like I said in my previous post, Sanderlings are a favourite subject for me when I’m somewhere along the coast. The first day there was only little light, so it was quite difficult to take proper pictures. The second day there were blue skies and nice sunlight. Much better for photography. However, it was also a lot more windy. Not a problem for photography (laying down on the beach means I can use my arm or hand as support), but it is a problem if you’re a small, fluffy ball of feathers with only two little legs… This little bird had to lean into the wind while searching for food…
