Lost

Adelie Penguin

So far nearly all penguin colonies we visited were Gentoo Penguins. But regularly there is a lost penguin of another species walking around, like this Adelie. They are supposed to breed a bit further south. But apparently some move a bit further north, maybe just like us, explore new territories or take a short holiday and end up in a ‘wrong’ colony. Fur us it’s a nice change of scene. Gentoos are really nice, but something different is even better for a change.
