In Antarctica everything is bigger. The winds are bigger (it’s the windiest continent), the cold is bigger (it’s the coldest continent) and the icebergs are bigger (almost all of Antarctica is covered under a thick layer of ice). When we sailed out of the South Shetlands and entered the Drake again, we met with many of these huge cathedrals of ice. All different shapes, some with, most without penguins and beautiful lit by the sun, who finally decided to make an appearance. As we sailed past, we had time enough to have a look at these huge pieces of ice and enjoy all their different shapes.
