Antarctica is the continent of icebergs (as you can see in the previous post), but also the continent of spectacular light. As we are north of the Antarctic Circle, the sun does set, even in summer, but only for a short period of time and it only goes a little under the horizon. This means you can have spectacular and very long sunsets like we had this evening. The low sun beautifully lit these huge tabular bergs, making the scene even more impressive.
