Winter in Norway doesn’t have too much colour. Different shades of white snow, nearly black snow-free patches and some grey in between. When it gets foggy, even more colour is lost.
In this case I saw a White-tailed Eagle soar in front of the mountains of Senja, Norway. Too far away for a close up, showing details of its plumage, I waited for it to fly in between the two mountains in the background to let it stick out a bit more.
I like this – very dramatic.
