Short days

Sunset near Senja, Norway

One of the disadvantages of going to northern Norway in February is that the days are really short. When I arrived sunrise was only at 9:30 and sunset already before 15:00. This gave us little time to search for whales and sail to a new location for the night. However, we had enough time to enjoy the nights with the Aurora’s. In between the day and night we often had really nice sunsets, like this one where the low sun nicely illuminated the mountains.
