
We didn’t see a lot of birds in Northern Norway. As it was winter, most birds had left the area for warmer southern regions. One of the few that didn’t migrate south was the White-tailed Eagle. With their wingspan of over 2 meter, they are one of the largest birds of prey in Europe. It’s really impressive to see them soar through he sky, grab a fish from behind one of the fishermen or, like this, sit on a rock near the shore.
