Giving space

Polar Bear

Close ups are always nice, but it’s also good to give your subject a little space. In this case the Polar Bear was this close to the ship that I could even use my fish-eye lens to capture it. Standing behind a row of very happy guests, I just held my camera over their heads and pointed a little downward. Tried many times, as I obviously couldn’t look through the view finder, but I think this one works best.
