
When we approached Negribreen, we found a sleeping bear on a nice blue iceberg. When we came closer, we saw it was injured. Several scratches on the side and blood colouring parts of the fur red. Apparently he had just been in a fight, as the blood seemed quite fresh. The Ivory Gulls flying around were a hint what the fight could have been about: most likely this bear had killed a seal and another, larger, bear wanted to take over this…

Thanks for the comment. Most of the wildlife shots are taken with a canon EOS 300mm/2.8 and 2x converter on a Canon EOS 5D mark III. I really love that combination 🙂
