People always like to compare things to other things. Which place is nicer? What is bigger? Where do you see more wildlife? The polar regions I know are incomparable. Spitsbergen, East Greenland, the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, they are all different and all have their own charm.
But if you have to compare the both Arctic places in this list, Spitsbergen and East Greenland, one difference is clear. The icebergs in East Greenland are a lot bigger as the ones on Spitsbergen. This makes sense as the glaciers that produce these icebergs are a lot bigger as well.
Your posts continue to build my anticipation for the trip that I will certainly make in the future.
