Great Skua on Spitsbergen

While cruising around Spitsbergen we often come across some small islands in front of the coast. These islands are often covered in tundra and used by ducks and geese to breed. They choose islands like this to be safe from predation by Arctic Foxes. However, they can’t escape the King of those Islands: the Great Skua. Somewhere at a high point on one of those islands there is always a Great Skua looking out over his domain.
