Sometimes you feel lucky. And privileged. We were zodiac cruising at Cierva Cove on the Antarctic Peninsula when we found a Leopard Seal swimming in the water. The animal seemed very curious and playful and kept on swimming around the boat (and his little iceberg) for a while. As the water was really clear, we could see him swim under the iceberg, approach the zodiac and suddenly turn around, swim towards another zodiac and so on. Meanwhile the GoPro’s were running under water, capturing great footage of this Antarctic Predator and the ‘normal’ cameras were clicking away when the animal surfaced. For all one of the highlights of this trip!
