Nothing but home

Zilvensche Hei – Loenermark

The past few weeks I’ve been back home in the Netherlands for a short break in my Antarctic season. How much I like the polar regions, it’s always nice to be home with friends and family (especially around Christmas and New Years). I didn’t spent a lot of time taking pictures, but when I saw this sunset in combination with the fog, I quickly decided to grab my camera and head to a nearby heathland. The fog wasn’t really thick, so I had to wait until the sun was behind the trees to make the best shots.
