As I wrote in the previous post this year we find a lot of sea ice around Spitsbergen. This blocks us from going to places that we want to, but it also gives other new opportunities. In the ice north of Spitsbergen we decided to have a zodiac cruise in the ice. Always a special experience to drive around in a zodiac through the ice, especially in good weather like we had. This time we got lucky and found several animals hauling out on ice floes. The frist we saw was this Bearded Seal. Not being afraid of humans it allowed us to come close.
