If someone would consider a career change, but doesn’t know in what direction, I can recommend becoming a Walrus dentist. I don’t know if something like that exist, but there is clearly a market. This big male was a good example of that. One tusk was completely missing, the other broken off.
Walruses use their tusks to fight with other males (hence the many scars they often have) and it’s also useful to rest on, or maybe even to climb on top of an iceberg. Without these they can still feed, they might just be less successful on other parts of life…
