Heading south again

The question I get asked most when I’m at home is “When do you leave again?”. In the beginning, I don’t really want to think about that. At those moments I’m usually happy to be home again. But after a while, the itch returns. Photos have been sorted, movies been edited, friends and family were visited, now it’s time to leave again.

This time I’m heading to Antarctica for two months of guiding. Most time will be spent on the Antarctic Peninsula, but I’ll also visit the Weddell Sea, the Falklands Islands and South Georgia. Looking forward again to sharing these fabulous places with the guests and I’ve got quite a few ideas for new movies in mind as well.
